The police command in Lagos State says a five-year-old girl, Bosede, was crushed to death by a truck while crossing the Iganmu-Apapa expressway with her mother. The Nigerian Army says its troops have rescued the nine abducted students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology in Osara, Kogi state.
