The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria enforcement team has shut down 751 medicine stores in Gombe, says Stephen Esumobifsi, the director of enforcement. Mr Esumobifsi told journalists on Thursday in Gombe that the shut outlets included 39 pharmacies, 128 patent medicine shops and 584 illegal medicine stores. The Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Capital Territory Command said on Thursday that 119 inmates escaped from the Suleja Custodial Centre in Niger State. This is contained in a statement in Abuja on Thursday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Samson Duza. The FCT command is in charge of Kuje and Suleja Medium Security Custodial Centres in Abuja and Niger.
