Gunmen on Saturday evening ambushed a Toyota Sienna vehicle along the Obbo-Aiyegunle/Osi Road in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, kidnapping seven passengers travelling from Abuja to Offa. Sources said the assailants spared three children who were traveling with some of the abducted passengers. The oldest of the children later alerted the management of Olumoh Express, the transport company operating the vehicle. Police in Niger State have arrested a man, Maikudi Usman, in connection with the death of Muhammad Ma’aba following a violent altercation in Gbako Local Government Area.
