A fire has ravaged Jarma UK Academy in Sokoto, a school established for orphans displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency. The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined. The fire destroyed significant parts of the school, including student hostels, the offices of the Principal and Vice Principal, a computer laboratory, and a staff room located on the upper floor.
