A four-year-old boy has been rescued in Kebbi State after police uncovered a plot allegedly orchestrated by his mother to kidnap him and extort money from his father. A Kebbi State High Court in Birnin Kebbi has condemned a 40-year-old man, Bello Musa, popularly known as Katuka, to death by hanging for culpable homicide and also handed him a five-year jail term for cheating. Justice Hassan Shehu Kuwa delivered the judgment after finding Musa guilty on three counts of criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide and cheating, contrary to Sections 60(b), 191(b) and 308 of the Kebbi State Penal Code Law, 2021.
