Coolio, the rapper whose smash hit “Gangster’s Paradise” sent him to international stardom, has died, according to a report. The report said the artist, 59, visited a friend in Los Angeles on Wednesday and went to the bathroom but never emerged. States in Nigeria are to get the first tranche of a $750m World Bank loan by December 2022. In the final report for State Action on Business Enabling Reforms, which is available on the World Bank’s website, it was disclosed that about $0.5m to $4m would be released to Nigerian states based on certain criteria. The fresh loan is from a Program for Results instrument under the State Action on Business Enabling Reforms. According to the World Bank, the programme would run from 2023 to 2025. The federal government says Nigeria currently produces about five million tonnes of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) annually, and only eight per cent of the production is utilised domestically, with the bulk being exported. It says domestic LPG production stands at about 45 per cent of annual consumption, with Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) supplying 450,000 metric tonnes per annum while 55 per cent is imported.
