GOVERNOR Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, yesterday, presented a budget proposal of N272.736 billion for the 2023 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly. Akeredolu presented the budget, tagged: ‘Budget of Shared Prosperity’ to the lawmakers, during a plenary, presided over by the Speaker of the House, Mr. Bamidele Oleyelogun, in Akure. Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) have said they foiled two kidnap attempts and rescued two kidnap victims from the hands of their abductors in one of the incidents and arrested two kidnappers in another incident. The Federal Government, through the National Universities Commission, is set to release the newly-developed curriculum for Nigerian universities on Monday (today). It was reported that the NUC had in 2021 inaugurated a committee of experts drawn from various disciplines in Nigerian universities to design the new core curriculum and minimum academic standards for universities.
