Resident Doctors at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Ondo State have embarked on an indefinite strike. The doctors had last week embarked on a three-day warning strike to call government attention to their plights. They however took the decision to go an indefinite strike at the end of a meeting in Akure on Monday. The doctors the strike action became imperative because the state government failed to address their demands. IN the just concluded week, the World Bank stated that it expects inflow of diaspora remittance to Nigeria to drop by $2 billion to $21.7 billion in 2020, from the $23.8 billion it printed in 2019.
