The federal government has appointed the Chairman and CEO of Channels TV, Mr. John Momoh, as acting chairman of the governing council of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lagos. Momoh performed his first assignment yesterday by presiding over a meeting of the council to ratify the election, by the UNILAG Senate, of Prof. Folasade Ogunsola as the acting vice-chancellor. THE Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Bankers’ Committee would extend special stimulus package to Nigerian-registered airlines and the media industry, CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele said on Tuesday.
