The federal government has halted the construction of the Port Harcourt-Maidugiri Eastern rail line due to insecurity and vandalism of railway properties on the corridor. Lagos State Government will establish the State Tertiary Education Trust Fund to create a financial model that will sustain its universities, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said yesterday. Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday arrested the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State.
