The Federal Government on Wednesday received the second donation of 2,000 Nigerian-made face masks from Israel, to boost its continued fight against the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic. This donation is the second donated by Israel in fulfillment of its planned donation of 10,000 face masks to support frontline health workers in the country. The suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, has asked the Judicial Commission of Inquiry probing his tenure to clarify the 45-day timeline given to it by President Muhammadu Buhari. The Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Olawatoyin Ogundipe, has been sacked by the governing council of the institution. His removal was announced during meeting of the Governing Council of the institution which held at the National Universities Commission (NUC) building in Abuja today.
