President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the suspension of embattled acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN) has confirmed. The military says troops have rescued three victims kidnapped by bandits in Chikun Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State. Major General John Enenche, who is the Coordinator of Defence Media Operations, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday. Ondo Speaker Bamidele Oleyelogun has asked the Chief Judge, Justice Olarenwaju Akeredolu, to set up a seven-man panel to investigate notice of gross misconduct levelled against the Deputy Governor, Hon Agboola Ajayi.
