Seven Boko Haram insurgents have been killed by troops of the Nigerian army in Damasak, Mobbar local government area of Borno state, sources have told TheCable. Two bodies were recovered on Friday after a boat en route to Ikorodu from Ebute-Ero, Lagos, capsized. The captain of the boat was said to be missing, while 10 passengers survived the accident which occurred around 8pm.
