Coronavirus cases in Ondo state today hit 41 with the tracking and subsequent arrest of a COVID-19 patient at the popular Oba Market in Akure. The WHO Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, gave the update on Saturday on its official Twitter handle @WHOAFRO. “There are over 175,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases on the African continent – with more than 77,000 recoveries and 4,800 deaths,’’ it said. No fewer than seventy bandits and cattle rustlers terrorising Kaduna State have been killed during a clearance operation by troops in Kachia forest in Chikun Local Governnent Area of the State.
