A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday dismissed a suit seeking disqualification of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Governor Gboyega Oyetola from the Osun State Governorship election slated for Saturday. A 28-year-old Kuje Correctional Center escapee, Yakubu AbdulMumuni, has been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command. The suspect was arrested in Sango-Ota, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the State. The Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu said out of 1,955,657 registered voters in Osun State, 1,479,595 Permanent Voters’ Cards have been collected as of Sunday.
