Surrendered Boko Haram Fighters Advise Colleagues To Surrender
Three members of Boko Haram terror group have surrendered to the troops of Delta Company at Strong Response Area Pulka in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State on June 2, 2020. They have also advised their former colleagues to surrender to the troops of Nigerian Army so as to save themselves from avoidable death.
The three repentant insurgents that surrendered to the sustained artillery bombardments and ferocious ground assaults of the troops on the hideouts of Boko Haram and ISWAP are Mohammed Babagana, Modu Jugudun and Alhaji Usman.
The three repentant insurgents confessed to have escaped from the camp of Boko Haram at Dabulari village in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State. They repentant insurgents added that they chose to surrender after a massive artillery bombardment of their enclave by the troops which had led to the death of many of their former colleagues.
Although they expressed regret for their actions while the troops also informed that many more insurgents were already scampering to surrender to the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole.
