Constituents Applaud Rep Adefisoye, @SmallAlhaji_ As He Marks One Year In Office
The people of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency have shown appreciation to their representative, Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye on occasion of his one year in office.
Adefisoye who is popularly known as Small Alhaji was praised by his
constituents for all he has done to make them have a sense of quality representation in the last one year. He was also appreciated for his good style of responsive, proactive and accountable representation.
Some of the beneficiaries of Adefisoye’s programmes in
Idanre and Ifedore were quick to shower appreciation on him for the palliative support given to them during the coronavirus lockdown. He was also appreciated for the financial empowerment of some market women and petty traders in the federal constituency. Some parents and guardians equally thanked Adefisoye for the organized summer coaching classes as well as the award of scholarship to 131 of their children.
While appreciating the efforts of Adefisoye in his first one year of being in office, the Owa of Idanre Kingdom, Oba Fredrick Adegunle Aroloye IV said Adefisoye had performed very well in just one year. He therefore appreciated the federal lawmaker for initiating and completing the renovation of his palace in additional to the grants given to market women in Idanre.
“Adefisoye has started very well and he is doing very well. I am proud of him for the renovation work in my palace. He earlier invited me to an event in which grants were given to some market women in Idanre. Although we want him to still help us with our roads. Above all, he has really done well and I am certain that he will still do much more”.

Oba Julius Adegoke Aluko also thanked Adefisoye for not forgetting his community since he became their representative in Abuja. The monarch however solicited the assistance of Adefisoye in the area of electricity transformer and construction of road which are the primary needs of the community.
“Hon. Adefisoye has not forgotten us since he was elected as our representative. We thank him for this. But, it is important I call his attention to our primary needs in this community which are road, electricity transformer and school. He should please help us to achieve this”.
Similarly, an elderly constituent, Fasomoyin Emmanuel Abiodun has also thanked Adefisoye for the award of scholarships to 131 students and for the financial empowerment of market women. He also praised the federal lawmaker for the donation of motorcycles and cars to some people in his constituency.
Moreso, a representative of the Hausa community in the federal constituency, Ismaili Idris also expressed his appreciation to Adefisoye for the palliative food items given to them.
“For the food items given to us as relief package by Small Alhaji, we say thank you. Thank you you once again. Allah shall continue to bless and protect you in all ways,” said Idris.
While speaking on the achievements of Adefisoye in one year, another constituent, Banji Agbelusi said the young lawmaker had performed very well going by his offer of quality representation and the delivery of democratic dividends that have made him surpassed the achievements of his predecessors in just one year.
Agbelusi also commended Adefisoye for the construction of a police post and the renovation of Anglican Secondary Secondary School in Ero community of Ifedore Local Government. He further praised the lawmaker for the enrollment of scores of youths in his constituency for different vocational trainings. He added that Adefisoye had just facilitated the establishment of a garri processing industry in Idanre. He was quite emphatic that what Adefisoye had achieved in just one year was more than what had been achieved in the last 12 years by his predecessors.
Meanwhile, a male constituent who is one of the beneficiaries of employment opportunities that were facilitated by Adefisoye but chose to plead anonymity said the young legislator had given hope to some hitherto hopeless youths in the federal constituency.
“We now have a representative who
has secured employment opportunities for some of us that are youths. We are also aware of his roles in the distribution of relief material to flood victims in Idanre through NEMA. We have not forgotten his role in the reinstatement of an indigene of Idanre into Nigeria police after being dismissed for four years. We are truly reaping the dividends of democracy through Hon. Adefisoye and we are really happy about this”.
