The Deputy-Minority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly and member representing Ondo West Constituency 1, Hon. Tomide Akinribido heartily felicitates with Muslim faithfuls in Ondo West Constituency 1 and the State generally on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In his Sallah message,Hon. Akinribido congratulated Muslims in Ondo state and particularly in Ondo West Constituency 1 for witnessing another Sallah festival and harped on the need for them to uphold the importance of this Islamic festival of sacrifice as commanded by Allah.

“I sincerely empathize with those who were unable to perform 2020 annual Hajj, due to the travel restraints as one of the stringent safety measures put in place by authorities to contain the spread of COVID-19 during the pilgrimage exercise.”

“As our Muslim brothers and sisters commemorate the sacrifice made by Ibrahim in compliance with Allah’s command,I enjoin them to use the privilege of this period to pray for a peaceful conduct of the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state, against the insecurity that is ravaging the country, for downward trajectory of COVID-19 pandemic and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.”

On behalf of all residents and indigenes of Ondo West Constituency 1, may Allah bless your households as you share the love, peace, and goodwill that are embedded in this Sallah festival.

I wish you all happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration

Barka De Sallah!
