Nigerian Army has described Sunday’s publication by Sahara Reporters in which it claimed that three soldiers were killed in a fresh attack launched on Borno community by Boko Haram fighters as fake and mischievous.

According to the official twitter handle of Nigerian Army, Sahara Reporters also falsely claimed that several weapons and ammunitions were stolen during the attack that lasted for two hours.

It may not be surprising after all, that Sahara Reporters had published the apparently mischievous news because of its clearly demonstrated sympathy for the Boko Haram terror group.
