UAE Court Jails Six Nigerians For Sponsoring Boko Haram

 

A federal court sitting in Abu Dhabi,
the capital of United Arab Emirate has sentenced six Nigerians to different jail terms on allegation of sponsoring Boko Haram activities in Borno State.

It was gathered that Surajo Abubakar Muhammad and Saleh Yusuf Adamu were given life imprisonment for sponsoring the activities of Boko Haram. The likes of Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, AbdurRahman Ado Musa, Bashir Ali Yusuf and Muhammad Ibrahim Isa were also sentenced to ten years jail term each on the same allegation of sponsoring Boko Haram.

Meanwhile, available court documents have shown that the convicts were found guilty of making cash transfer of $782,000 to the insurgents during the period of 2015 and 2016.
