Nigerian troops have neutralised kidnappers at 15 troubled spots in Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Giwa and Igabi local governments of Kaduna State.
Bandits suspected to be abductors on Wednesday attacked Katarma village in Chikun Local Government, killing four persons and kidnapping women.
Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incidents, said the women were later rescued by security operatives.
He identified the persons killed by the bandits as Bulus Barde, Hassan Zarmai, Lawal Pada and Kefas Auta.
