Amotekun combs Ondo forest, nabs four over burning of operational vehicle

The Ondo State Security Network Agency also known as Amotekun has arrested four persons in connection with the burning of its operational vehicle and motorcycles at Sanusi Village, Owo, Ondo State on Thursday.

The suspects whose identities were not released by the security outfit due to ongoing investigations were arrested in a forest reserve in Owo Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking on the development on Saturday the state Commander of Amotekun Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspects were linked with the killing of a farmer and a member of the vigilante group in Ago Sanusi along Ute Road in Owo.

He however noted that the suspects were not herdsmen, noting that the herders sighted in the forest fled upon seeing his men.
