OPINION: Another Journey Begins as Aketi Takes Oath of Office by Isijola Kikelomo

Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN will today begin a journey of another four years at the helm of affairs in Ondo State.

This feat is not easy to come by in a state where there is political consciousness like Ondo State.

The overwhelming support at the poll on October 10, 2020 attested to the love the Residents have for Akeredolu and a reciprocatory gesture for his life changing strides across the state.

The sterling performance of Governor Oluwaritimi Akeredolu in the last four years remains a cynosure of all eyes.

This political enigma painstakingly put his feat on the strength that the state must be compassionate to the poorest and weakest in the society and must provide the highest quality of amenities to better their lot.

Aketi, as he’s fondly called is not just a pride to Ondo but also the entire black race in the areas of provision of road network, infrastructural development, social welfare, agriculture and particularly Industralization among others.

The calculated steps of the Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu towards industrialization in Ondo state is distinctly remarkable.

The Ore Industrial Park, an innovative venture by the government, located on a 1000 hectare of land, is designed to create an estimated 120,000 decent employment opportunity.

The first term of Governor Akeredolu no doubt witnessed applausible achievements in all sectors. The quantum of young ones employed into the civil service has left many Agaped, moreso, in the face of the dwindling national economy. The new staff at the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation, OSRC, OSOPADEC among others will for ever be greateful to Governor Akeredolu for his magnanimity.,

Today, a new chapter has been opened, the governor, Mr Talk and Do will definitely develop on these giant strides. We have no reason to doubt this.

The governor has even assured that his second term in office would not be for sleeping but rather to work harder.

The governor assured the people of the state that he would hit the ground running immediately after his inauguration for a second term in office.

He promised not to rest on his laurels.

” Our second term is not for us to sleep.

“We will hit the ground running from the day we are sworn in.

“We will work. We have a lot of work to do.” He said

Congratulations Aketi!!!
