Rep Adefisoye, @SmallAlhaji_ Facilitates Covid-19 Survival Grant for 170 Constituents

Federal lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has facilitated the payment of Federal Government Covid-19 Survival Fund for 170 of his constituents.

The lawmaker stated in a terse statement issued on Friday that the
carefully selected 170 beneficiaries
across Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency have been receiving the initial credit alert of
#30,000 grant from the federal government.

“I am glad to inform my people that the federal government has graciously approved and commenced payment for 170 constituents that I nominated for
the Federal Government Economic Sustainability Plan. The program designed by the government to support and protect businesses in the face of Covid-19 pandemic that has been ravaging the entire globe”.

However, Adefisoye has advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the fund, as it is meant to cushion the effects of coronavirus pandemic on their businesses and sources of livelihood.

Similarly, Adefisoye also stated in the statement that another set of 250 constituents he nominated for
soft loan under the same Economic Sustainability Plan of the federal government have received their full disbursements which ranged from #250,000 to #500,000.

He however clarified that loan was not same as grant. He further stated that the soft loan would attract little interest with a moratorium of one year.

Adefisoye has therefore advised the soft loan beneficiaries to put the fund to best use and resist the temptation of channeling the fund to merry making. He also thanked the federal government for rolling out the laudable economic programmes in the best interests of the citizens.
