Lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has begun the construction of 7 Aside Stadium in Idanre.
Adefisoye, who is popularly known as Small Alhaji performed the foundation laying ceremony of the project on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the compound of Olofin Grammar School, Idanre.
Speaking at the event, Adefisoye said the project was in fulfilment of one his electoral campaign promises to make Idanre and Ifedore federal constituency the hub of sports development in Ondo State.
Speaking further, Adefisoye also appreciated the management of Olofin Grammar for their patriotic decision to join in the development of Idanre community with the provision of land for the stadium project
“We need to provide a platform where the budding talents in our constituency could be discovered and projected to the outside world.
I am postive that this facility upon completion will rekindle the interests of our youth in sporting activities, especially football.
“It is important that I appreciate the management of Olofin Grammer School for providing land for this project. I need to particularly emphasize that the management of Olofin Grammar School truly deserve special appreciation for choosing to be a partner in the development of Idanre community”.
It will be recalled that Adefisoye had earlier in the year, while hosting the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency Unity Football Competition made a promise to construct one 7 Aside Stadium each in the two local government areas of Idanre and Ifedore.
