FABULOUS MINDS SOCIAL CLUB INAUGURATES PIONEER EXCOS IN AKURE.
Following the creation of the Fabulous Minds Social Club of Nigeria in Akure earlier in the year 2021 the club has grown from strength to strength with the latest development being the maiden inauguration ceremony of the pioneer executives of the club.
After conducting a free and fair election which included an online voting process from members of the club in diaspora the elected executives were scheduled for an elaborate inauguration ceremony being the
maiden edition and the event truly lived up to it’s billing as people from different walks of life graced the occasion in Akure.
In his opening remarks chairman of the occassion Mr Tope Kolawole a former Permanent Secretary in the Ondo State Civil Service commended the electoral committee as well as members for conducting themselves before and during the electioneering process which eventually produced the executives.
While speaking Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the club Mr Obinna Francis charged the excos to be alive to their responsibilities in the course of discharging their duties saying to whom much is given much is expected.
The BOT Chairman also commended members for their support at ensuring that the club achieved so much within a short period of time while also thanking them for providing the platform for him to serve them.
In his acceptance speech the President of the club Mr Khadiri Olugbenga lauded members for their support while he singled out his co-contestant Mr Yemi Fasipe for his doggedness and maturity which he said would be needed to move the club forward.
Other members of the excos include the Vice President Mr Olasunkanmi Aderele ,General Secretary Adewunmi Akeredolu, Financial Secretary Fasan Kunle,the Treasurer Ogunbowo Ajibola.
Other members of excos are the Assistant General Secretary Kanisuru Ayodele,PRO Dayo Johnson ,Welfare Officer Ovie Oluwaseun Kelvin and Olajorin Dotun as the Chief Whip.
Certificates of returns were later presented to the pioneer executives while the electoral committee led by Mr Babatunde Oduekun were also presented with commendation letters.
