Dr Tola Awosika is a serial entrepreneur, economist, political enthusiast and astute
businessman.
He has a history of running successful companies and most recently: Villa Monument a luxury boutiquehotel and part of the 355 Group.
Villa Monument hotel was born out of a conscious effort to bring a differed dynamic to the hotel industry across West Africa and around the world.
355 Group, has fast risen to become a recognizable quality Mexican restaurant & lounge rapidly after its grand opening in Lagos in December 2013, with 6 locations including Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, Enugu and Marina (Lagos Island), Landmark, Calabar, Victoria
Island and Kano.
355 is building a noteworthy hospitality chain in the Nigerian marketplace.
Under his parent company BDT Group, Mr. Awosika has built successful businesses in
several industries including: Power, Oil & gas, Marine services, Construction, Pharmaceuticals and more.
Recently, Tola invested in a fitness business by the name of Fitness Central and within
months the gym had achieved laudable membership numbers with a pressing demand for a second location.
He is passionate about making an impact and building proudly African companies that touch the lives of people across the value chain.
His most recent project, a Medical factory specializing in the manufacturing of Intravenous Fluid, is poised to be the largest in Africa.
For Tola, it is not all work, he is equally passionate about giving back.
He established Tola Awosika Foundation (TAF) in August 2020 a charity and social impact organization whose primary objectives are philanthropy and social well-being.
He is also a board member of the Temitayo Awosika Help Foundation (TAHF), a non-profit organization set up to cater for children and adults living with Sickle Cell Anemia and the underprivileged/needy members of the Society.
Additionally, he is on the board of the Christian Benevolence Foundation.
Tola has a Bachelor’s Degree in economics and politics from the University of Essex and a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Coventry making him a well-rounded asset
to any company and team.
In recognition of his global leadership and extraordinary determination, he earned a Doctoratedegree from Swiss School of Business & Management.
Dr Tola Awosika is aspiring to represent the good people of Ondo central senatorial district at the red chamber come 2023.
