The ADX Foundation has distributed working tools to some business owners and Traders in Isinkan community in Akure south local government area of Ondo State.

Sewing Machines were distributed to Fashion designers, Clippers to Barbers and cash gift to market women at Isinkan market to boost their businesses.

The Founder, Mr Adeolu Adeniran said the Empowerment programme was in collaboration with Isinkan Youths and there are plans to empower over 3000 residents.

“The desire to impact and give back to the community birthed the ADX Foundation, which is a non-profit organisation founded on the need to provide an atmosphere where Nigerians are secure and prosperous. It is my wish and desire for Nigeria to be secure and free of poverty,”

Mr Adeniran said he was passionate about the wellbeing of the people within the local council because he shares in their pains, especially given the socio-economic situation of Nigeria.

According to him, the foundation’s main objectives are to provide empowerment to the communities through provision of working tools, skills acquisition for job creation, and scholarships for underprivileged children and youth of the communities.

He noted that the foundation seeks to provide opportunities for people to improve their lives by empowering men and women with the right skills that would make them employable and employers of labour.

Some of the beneficiaries, lauded the gesture saying it would go a long way to boost their businesses.

They said it came at a time when they were in need of support.

One of them, Mrs Kudirat Alimi, a petty trader and mother of two said the coming of the ADX Foundation to the community is timely as they had looked forward to such an initiative.
