Easter : Adefisoye, @SmallAlhaji_ Urges Christians To Imbibe Spirit of Sacrifice, Love
Federal lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has rejoiced with his Christian constituents as they celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Adefisoye also urged Christians in his constituency and Ondo State at large to imbibe the spirits of love and sacrifice to underscore the essence of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He added that God chose to sacrifice His only begotten son, Jesus Christ for the remission of the sins of mankind because of His love for the world.
The youngest House of Representatives member from the Southern Nigeria emphasized on love and sacrifice in his Easter message made available to newsmen on Saturday.
“Love and sacrifice are two very important attributes needed to ensure brotherliness, peaceful coexistence and community development. Just as love forgives and overlooks mistakes, sacrifice also necessitates parting with one’s resources as well as selflessly rendering helping hands to the needy”.
The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Army further urged all Nigerians to embrace peace and shun crimes in the interest of the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ for mankind. He also beseeched terror elements in the country to have a change of heart and give peace a chance as two wrongs can never amount to a single right.
More so, Small Alhaji equally wished his constituents the grace to witness more Easter celebrations in peace of mind, good health and accomplished desires.
“I solemnly wish all my constituents and particularly the Christians the grace to remain alive to celebrate many more Easter in peace of mind, unfailing health and accomplishments of their desires”, the message concluded.
