CONCERNED CITIZENS FOR GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT VISITS NATIONAL ORIENTATION AGENCY NOA – FOR STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP.
As part of efforts towards the preparation of PVCHANGOUT 2.0 a voter’s Education in Ondo City, the organizers has paid a courtesy visit to the National Orientation Agency on strategic Partnership in her state of in Akure, the State capital of Ondo State today 5th May, 2022, towards the success of the forthcoming program Thursday 19 05, 2022.
While receiving the organizers the State Director, Mrs Adefolalu and her management staff, thanked the team for the visit and retriate the commitment of the Agency that they are open for partnership that will espouse the aims and objectives of the the Agency.
Speaking the State Director described the visit as timely and one that will bring development to our society. She said ” I’m excited about this visit, this shows that we have youths who understand the level of moral decadence and the nonchalant attitude of young persons towards political participation and leadership and are ready to chart possible solutions that will bring an end to all the daunting challenges steering us at the face”. She said further that NOA is an agency of Federal Government that keeps disseminating policies and programs of government with the message of hope for a better and new Nigeria.
While speaking, the Project Team, led by Hon. Olusegun AKINSEHINDE (Dr Package) appreciated the warm hospitality received and the responsiveness of the agency. “For us as an organization we are intentional about changing the narrative around our electoral process of “our Votes don’t count”. We are trying to encourage many Nigerian youth to be politically active and responsible. We can’t fold our arms and allow this to degenerate. We must put a stop to such narrative.. That’s why we consider this visit and partnership necessary. Partnering with NOA will further reposition the our organization and the forthcoming program PVCHANGOUT 2.0 the much needed credibility and the mobilization required”. He said.
Also speaking the Co Convener PVCHANGOUT and social media influencer, Hon. Oluyemi Fasipe YemieFash, thanked the agency and stressed on the need for strategic Partnership to advance the course of Voter’s Education and bring youth on same page and change the narrative around our electoral system and also encourage youth participation.
Other members of the team also spoke on youth active participation in our political processes.
