The year 2023 is drawing near and with it comes the realization that the future of our senatorial district is precarious. It is true that people will decide who wins the presidency, but the party delegates will have already decided long before that who will win the presidency.

As the APC prepares for its senatorial primary elections on 27th of May, 2022, this letter serves as a request to all of the party’s delegates.

I salute your selfless dedication and commitment to the progress of our dear party. No doubt, you have earned the right to become a delegate of our party because you have been found worthy, suitable, and competent to hold this highly important position.

As we prepare for the party’s primaries in few days, one which will see the party elect its official flagbearers in the forth coming election, I beseech you all to make that one decision which will kickstart the journey to the redemption for our people.

Come 2023, the electorate can only pick from the candidates who you will be electing during the primaries and we not only owe it to ourselves but also to our children and the generations yet unborn to elect a candidate who will grant us our collective yearnings.

For too long, we have been subjected to underdevelopment, stagnancy in our grassroots communities and unemployment for our youths while we have little or nothing to look forward to.

Having identified a candidate who we can call our own, a man who we firmly believe will herald for us better representation come 2023, we enjoin you to ensure that you vote using merit as the only yardstick to decide the party’s candidate in the Senatorial district.

For the majority, having examined the many candidates who have come forward to express their aspirations, we have found Dr. Tola Emmanuel Awosika the best fit for the job. By all descriptions, having met our requirements, we hold that he is a round peg in a round hole.

His intentions and plans for our Senatorial district are honorable and noble. His qualities and qualifications give us the confidence that he will do brilliantly well if given the opportunity to represent us at the Red Chamber.

The only way for us to advance as a community of progressives is for us to give our mandate to a man who can give us better representation and quality leadership.

Tola Emmanuel Awosika ticks all the boxes, and it would be a great win for our people if he is given the opportunity to represent the party at the general elections scheduled for the year 2023.

Dear Delegates, it is our hope that you will look beyond the political gimmicks of some of the aspirants who seek nothing but personal glorification.

Let us support the aspirant that we know can give us what we need, which is quality representation and good leadership.
Tola Emmanuel Awosika is the answer.
