The Dr. Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will today issue a Certificate of Return to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku won the party’s presidential ticket last Saturday in a keenly contested primary election.
A statement last night by PDP spokesman Debo Ologunagba said the event will take place at the party’s Abuja secretariat.
The statement said: “The PDP invites all our governors, governorship candidates, presidential aspirants, members of the Board of Trustees (BoT), members of the National Assembly, all other candidates of the party and all critical stakeholders to the special ceremony of the presentation of Certificate of Return to our presidential flag bearer, H.E. Atiku Abubakar (Waziri Adamawa), GCON.”
