The upper chamber of the National Assembly on Wednesday threatened to cut the budget of the Army, Police, National Intelligence Agency, and National Security Agency (NSA), if they failed to appear before the Senate Committee on Public Account.

National Human Rights Commission, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ministry of Defence, Civil Defence, Ministries of Works and Housing, Aviation, Transportation and 89 others were also among the agencies threatened by the Senate to cut their budget if they failed to reach out to the committee in the next one week.
