In a shocking incident that has ignited public outcry, some yet to be identified number of Lagos police officers resorted to forceful robbery, holding a man at gunpoint and making off with N390,000 after initially attempting to extort N1 million from him, despite finding no incriminating evidence.
The incident, according to the victim which occurred on the 25th of November 2023, at Mile 12 after been driven from Ebutte, Ikorodu around 11:00pm has raises serious concerns about the conduct of law enforcement officers in the Nigerian Police.
