Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa remains the only choice before Ondo state people in the 2024 governorship election, his deputy, Olayide Adelami, has said.

The deputy governor made this submission to a cross-section of party faithful and residents of Ido-Ani in Ose local government area of Ondo state, who gathered for an empowerment program, sponsored by Olatunji Oshati, member representing Ose constituency in the state House of Assembly, on Saturday.

Adelami said the governor is a listening leader, whose priority is to make life worth living for every resident of the state, regardless of their political affiliations. He, therefore, appealed to the people of Ose to give their support to Aiyedatiwa to enable him return as governor.

“I am here to grace this empowerment program and to also solicit your support for His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, as he remains the only choice before us in this year’s election. We cannot afford to embark on trial and error. Aiyedatiwa is tested and trusted and he will surely deliver” the deputy governor canvassed.

He assured them that the state government will look into their needs and find a way around it. Chief among them, is the road leading to Ido-Ani township and others that were presented to him.

Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, also seized the opportunity to ask for support for the governor of Ondo state, in his bid to continue to deliver life-changing programs to the people.

In his remarks, Oshati, assured his constituents of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to their welfare and urged them to give him their full support in the forthcoming governorship primary election.
