Today, chaos erupted among traders along Arakale Road at Mobil as they protested the fatal stabbing of one of their own by unidentified individuals believed to be soldiers.

According to witnesses, men dressed in Army uniforms were responsible for the heinous act. Allegedly, a soldier instigated his comrades to reclaim money he had paid for a service following a minor altercation.

The altercation escalated into violence, resulting in the tragic stabbing of a trader, ultimately leading to his demise.
Speaking with newsmen, one of the traders said the said soldiers beat the involved trader and his family into coma as one of them was stabbed to death.

The Arakale axis of the road was brought to standstill as the aggrieved traders blocked the road.

Commuters were stranded by this action as they found it difficult to do their businesses.

Policemen were on ground to ensure that the issue did not escalate beyond expectations.

The divisional Police officer who was on ground said he could not speak to Radio Nigeria until he was ordered to do so.
