Months after installation, Ondo Monarch Dies
The Olojoda of Oda kingdom in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Julius Ajayi Adewumi Omomo, Okunbadejo II, has passed away at the age of 83.
Oba Omomo, who assumed the throne on May 30, 2023, following the passing of his predecessor, passed away after a brief illness.
During his tenure, the late monarch was instrumental in driving development initiatives and fostering peace within the local community, leaving a notable legacy of progress.
Confirming his demise, a family member, Chief Prince Ade Adelakun, described Oba Omomo as a humble, compassionate leader who was deeply committed to the well-being and unity of his subjects and the state.
