Two kidnappers shot dead during abduction attempt
The Plateau State Police command shot dead two suspected kidnappers on Monday while attempting to abduct some persons in the Fangha community, Daffo district, Bokkos local government area of plateau state.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo said, the operation was carried out after a distress call was placed to the command.
Alabo disclosed that, though two of the kidnappers were killed in the process of gun battle, others escaped with gunshot wounds
He said, “On 03/06/2024 at about 5:30 am, we received a distress call from a patriotic citizen who reported that, some hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers were operating in Fangha area of Daffo District, Bokkos LGA.
“A team of Policemen and other security help groups went to the scene of the incident where they engaged the hoodlums in a gun duel and two of the hoodlums were neutralized in the process, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.”
