The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, celebrates the founder of Agape Christian Fellowship, Bishop Felix Adejumo on his 70th birthday.
Congratulating him at his thanksgiving service at his church in Akure, on Thursday, Governor Aiyedatiwa said life itself is a journey and a moment can be so pleasant while some can be challenging.
“I know that in the last 70 years, you have experienced challenging moments, pleasant and happy moments, just like the one you are witnessing today.
“Your dedication, compassion, and spiritual guidance have made a profound impact on our land and millions of people around the world.
“I have seen firsthand positive impacts you have made on many lives within and outside Ondo State through your philanthropic endeavours and those of your lovely wife, Rev. Funke Felix-Adejumo. You have remained a shining example of how to use the church as an agent of positive change and it is my honour to be part of the Agape story.
“As you celebrate this incredible milestone of clocking 70, I want you to know that your tireless efforts to spread love, kindness, and understanding have not gone unnoticed. Your sacrifices, selflessness and commitment to serving others are an inspiration to us all, and l am so grateful to have you standing by us.
“May this special day bring you joy, peace, and time to reflect on the many blessings in your life. May God continue to bless you with sound health, guide and strengthen you as you continue to serve Him, the church and the society”.
The former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko described the celebrant as an impactful friend, who he has enjoyed a great taste of his friendship.
Also speaking, the first lady of Ekiti State, Mrs Olayemi Oyebanji congratulated the Adejumo, saying that 70 years is really a long journey.
“The Lord has touched you to count your years and He will continue to keep you. As your days, so shall your strength be”.
The Deji of Akure who also spoke at the event described the celebrant as a prayer warrior, an accomodating and loving man of God.
In his reaction, the celebrant, Bishop Felix Adejumo in his joyous mood, appreciated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for celebrating him on his birthday. He also acknowledged everyone who came to celebrate him.
He noted that celebrating 70 years on earth is a great grace that Only God can give, stressing that his remaining days on earth would be used to serve God.
