Aiyedatiwa, Mimiko, others celebrate Bishop Felix Adejumo on 70th birthday

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has paid glowing tributes to the General Overseer of the Agape Christian Assembly, Bishop Felix Adejumo, on his 70th birthday.

Congratulating him at the birthday thanksgiving service at the church auditorium in Akure, on Thursday, Governor Aiyedatiwa said Bishop Adejumo’s dedication, compassion, and spiritual guidance have made a profound impact on millions of people around the world.

The Governor said: “I have seen firsthand positive impacts you have made on many lives within and outside Ondo State through your philanthropic endeavours and those of your lovely wife, Rev. Funke Felix-Adejumo. You have remained a shining example of how to use the church as an agent of positive change and it is my honour to be part of the Agape story.

“As you celebrate this incredible milestone of clocking 70, I want you to know that your tireless efforts to spread love, kindness, and understanding have not gone unnoticed. Your sacrifices, selflessness and commitment to serving others are an inspiration to us all.

“It is my prayer that God will continue to bless you with sound health, guide and strengthen you as you continue to serve Him, the church and the society”.

A former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, also at the event, described Bishop Adejumo as an impactful friend who has been a pillar of support for him and his family since their first meeting in 1992.

Also speaking, the first lady of Ekiti State, Mrs Olayemi Oyebanji and the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, congratulated Bishop Adejumo on clocking 70, describing him as a blessing to the society.

In his reaction, the celebrant, Bishop Felix Adejumo, appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa and other guests for celebrating him on his birthday.

He noted that celebrating 70 years on earth is a great grace that Only God can give, stressing that his remaining days on earth would be used to serve God.
