he Anambra State Police Command said it has recovered a three-month-old baby dumped in front of a secondary school in the state.

It is not yet certain who dumped the baby, but a passer-by who discovered the boy in front of Oraukwu Boys Technical College handed him over to the police.

This was disclosed by the Anambra State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, in a press release on Tuesday.

Ikenga who made the disclosure, called on anyone who knew the parents of the baby to come forward with claims to collect her.

“The baby was recovered by a Good Samaritan and brought to Eziowelle Police Station.

“Meanwhile, all efforts so far made to locate the parents or relatives of the baby for identification and claim have proved abortive. The police have handed over the baby to the Director of the Welfare Department Idemili North LGA for safe custody.
