The shooter who disrupted former President Donald Trump’s Pennsylvania rally on Saturday has been neutralised, according to Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger.

The incident sparked panic among the rallygoers and left at least one attendee dead.

With blood staining his left ear and face, Mr Trump was swiftly escorted off the stage by Secret Service agents following a brief but alarming sounds of gunshots.

Despite sustaining injuries, Mr Trump urged the crowd to remain resolute in their support before being taken to safety.

Since the event, footage showing Mr Trump with blood on his face and ear has gone viral, capturing the dramatic and unsettling nature of the episode.
