Ondo Assembly passes vote of confidence in its leadership

Rising from the Parliamentary meeting on 30th July,2024 at the Assembly Complex, members of the Ondo State House of Assembly have unanimously passed vote of confidence in their Leadership,led by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, saying such gesture would further bring about harmony and unity to the House.

This was made known in a Press Statement issued by the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon. (Chief) Olatunji Oshati today in Akure.

While describing the leadership of the 10th Assembly as dedicated with passion to the well-being of the people of Ondo State, they commended the Speaker of the House for his laudable leadership quality and prowess.

According to Hon.Oshati, members of the House have come together as a formidable team to express their support for the leadership of the House in whatever legislative decision they might wish to take in the interest of the State and the general public.

“This vote of confidence” will bring sustainable development to the State. It will bring mutual relationship among the three arms of government. The vote of confidence is a child of necessity that will right a lot of wrongs which have been in existence due to misconception in some angles”. The statement said.

The members, later expressed the determination of the lawmakers to always carry out their legislative duties at all times in order to put smiles on the faces of individuals.
