Edo State Governor-Elect, Monday Okpebholo, has announced his first appointment, naming Fred Itua as the Chief Press Secretary.
The announcement comes just one day before Okpebholo’s inauguration, set to take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Itua will officially assume his duties immediately after the swearing-in ceremony.
Fred Itua is a seasoned journalist, previously serving as the Assistant Political Editor at The Sun newspaper.
Okpebholo will be succeeding the outgoing Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
