Fresh FM Akure on Monday honoured some members of staff with cash for outstanding performances in the outgoing year.
The awards were presented by the sponsor, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The governor’s spokesman did a content analysis of the station’s programmes and expressed satisfaction with the professional touch given to them.
Adeniyan also thanked the management of the station for the support so far giving to the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa in the last one year.
Responding, the General Manager, Mr Dokun Ladele, expressed appreciation to the CPS and urged the staff to see the recognition as a catalyst to do more.
He said: “This is to express appreciation to our dear CPS for sponsoring our award ceremony. We are proud of you. You have been a source of joy to us. Infact journalists in Ondo state have never had it so good. Thank you so much for all your efforts.”
Responding on behalf of the awardees, the Head of News, Mr Promise Inumisam, expressed appreciation to the management for recognizing hard work.
