Deborah Olaki, popularly known as Mummy Zee, has taken a moment to reflect on the extraordinary year that reshaped her life.

In a heartfelt tweet, she marked the anniversary of her rise to fame, writing, “It’s been one sweet year,” as she quoted the viral post that brought her overwhelming support, gifts, and life-changing opportunities.

PUNCH Online reports that Mummy Zee became an internet sensation on January 4, 2024, when she replied to a tweet about a woman preparing meals for her husband’s colleagues. In her response, she revealed how she began waking up at 4:50am to cook for her husband after he mentioned that a colleague often brought extra utensils so they could eat together.

Her relatable and witty confession struck a chord with many Nigerians, sparking both praise and debate online.

Within days, her story went viral, transforming her life in unimaginable ways.

Over the months, Mummy Zee received over N5 million in donations from kind-hearted netizens, alongside numerous gifts and sponsorships from brands like Kuda Bank and Infinix, NNPCL, NITDA among others.

Her journey became an example of how social media can create community and open doors to new opportunities.

Reflecting on her journey, she tweeted, “It’s been one sweet year,” expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support she received.

She also thanked the individual who initiated the life-changing moment, writing, “He told me to drop my account details, and that was where it all started. Thank you, #ardekoyah. I’ll never forget it.”
