Celebrating Progress for Adamawa Sports as Makwada Square Approved by NNL

…. Chidama says it’s now Adamawa United’s Home Ground

Adamawa State, Makwada Square in Numan has been officially greenlit by the Nigerian National League (NNL) to serve as the home venue for Adamawa United’s matches.

This exhilarating development marks a significant milestone, igniting pride not only in Numan but across the entire state, as it signals a bold step forward for sports and community spirit.

Dr. Yusuf Chidama, a key figure on the board of Adamawa United, captured the essence of this achievement: “This is more than just about football; it’s about community, progress, and putting Adamawa on the map.”

His words reflect the broader impact of this approval, which promises to unite fans, inspire young athletes, and elevate the state’s presence in Nigerian sports.

This triumph would not have been possible without the steadfast support of the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri whose dedication to advancing sports infrastructure has laid the foundation for this success.

The governor’s vision has turned dreams into reality, ensuring that Adamawa’s sporting ambitions are no longer confined to the sidelines.

Equally deserving of praise is the Multi-Sectoral Crisis Recovery Project (MCRP), led by the project lead consultant, Dr. Maurice Vunobolki and his committed team.

Their tireless work and sacrifices have transformed Makwada Square into a facility worthy of national recognition, showcasing the power of collaboration and resilience. This approval is a testament to their efforts to rebuild and uplift communities through meaningful projects like this.

As Adamawa United prepares to take the field at Makwada Square, the state stands on the cusp of a new era in sports—a celebration of progress that will echo far beyond the pitch. This is Adamawa’s moment to shine, and the excitement is only just beginning as Hong and Gulak have the same sporting facilities says Dr Chidama
