A Magistrate Court in Akure, Ondo State, has ordered the remand of John Odah for allegedly murdering his employer’s husband with a machete.
According to the police, the incident occurred on April 18, 2025, at Agbajo Farm in the Ilu-Abo area of Akure North Local Government.
Odah was said to have been hired by the victim’s wife to work on their farm.
The confrontation reportedly began when Odah offered the deceased some Indian hemp, which he declined, leading to the fatal attack.
