Nollywood actress Priscilla Ojo recently addressed a critic’s comment about her husband, Juma Jux, following his victory at the 17th Headies Awards.
The prestigious event, held at the Landmark Events Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, celebrated exceptional figures in the entertainment industry.
One of the highlights was a posthumous tribute to the late Mohbad, who was honored with an award.
Juma Jux, Priscilla Ojo’s husband, was also celebrated at the ceremony, winning the Best East African Artist award for his contributions to music.
After the win, a user on X (formerly Twitter), identified as Oba, posted a comment saying, “The game is the game,” which seemed to imply some criticism of the win. In her response, Priscilla Ojo confidently shared her perspective on why Juma Jux recently married her.
She boldly stated that her husband’s decision to marry her was partly aimed at boosting his recognition in the Nigerian entertainment industry and helping him earn accolades like the Headies Award.
Priscilla expressed her deep appreciation for her husband’s success, praising him for his dedication and hard work.
Her tweet read, “Yes o, he got married for Nigerian recognition and the Headies Award. The game is the game, my brother. Shout-out to my husband, such a smart, calculative, and hardworking man. I’m so lucky. Big love to JP fans for voting. We love you.”
