Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has canceled two more dates on his “Morayo Live Tour,” fueling speculation about the future of the highly anticipated concert series.
As of Friday, May 9, 2025, the singer officially pulled out of scheduled performances at the Velodrom in Berlin, Germany, and the Accor Arena in Paris, France. The cancellations come just a day after reports surfaced that four North American shows had already been scrapped.
Earlier on May 8, Intel Region reported that shows at major venues—State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Madison Square Garden in New York, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, and CFG Bank Arena in Maryland—had been called off.
Leading music platforms, including Album Talks and NotJustOk, have since confirmed the latest round of cancellations. A tweet from @AlbumTalksHQ read: “JUST IN:
The France & Berlin shows on Wizkid’s ‘Morayo Tour’ have now REPORTEDLY been cancelled.”
The reasons behind the cancellations remain unclear, but fans are increasingly worried about whether the remaining tour dates will proceed as planned.
